2018 Cancer Preceptorship for General Practitioners

This workshop covers a wide range of topics relevant to General Practitioners including:

• Haematology

• Medical Oncology

• Radiation Oncology

• Case Studies

• Workstations

• Tour of Chemotherapy Day Therapy Unit and Radiation Oncology facilities

The Cancer Care Department at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital is the largest cancer service in Queensland, encompassing Haematology, Bone Marrow Transplant, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and the Queensland Haemophilia Centre.

Our preceptorship provides a quality educational experience for GPs enabling us all to continue to provide excellent care for our patients.

The Cancer Preceptorship for General Practitioners will be convened by Dr Melissa Eastgate.
