Relevance to General Practice
By the close 2018, every person known to Medicare will be issued with a My Health Record (if they do not already have one), unless they actively choose to opt out. With 85% of Australians seeing a GP at least once each year, patients are likely to have questions for general practice staff about the use of My Health Record, the type of information it contains, and the opt-out process.
