Symposium 2018: Community Nursing Matters

The Metro South Community Nurses Network has been developed to enable connecting, collaborating and sharing of specific community based practice information between Nurse Clinicians working outside of the acute care domain.

The theme of this year’s symposium is titled: Community Nursing Matters. As nurses, we are aware of the value of our own practice and how we are progressing our knowledge and skill. However, we can often forget to share this with others and then wonder why we are not getting the professional and greater community recognition we deserve.

Health professionals from across Metro South Health are invited to attend this annual symposium of guest key note speakers and presenters from our own Metro South community based nursing clinicians. These presentations reflect a range of service areas and highlight the value of community based nursing.

All nursing staff are invited to consider submitting an abstract for both oral and poster presentations.

Abstract submissions close COB 5 September 2018. For more information and submission of abstracts; https://qheps.health.qld.gov.au/metrosouth/nursing/community-nurses-network-symposium-2018

NB: This symposium is open to Metro South Health employees only.
