Training in the management of acute care needs of RACF residents - Kaiyar

The Brisbane North Primary Health Network (Brisbane North PHN) extends an invitation to residential aged care facility (RACF) nursing staff in the region to participate in free training and support providing up to 12 professional development hours.

This unique opportunity will familiarise nurses with five clinical pathways, which have been collaboratively developed by Clinical Excellence Queensland’s Healthcare Improvement Unit, for the management of acute care needs of RACF residents.

This training and support will be delivered by a nurse practitioner who has expertise in the clinical care of people living in residential aged care and will assist RACFs to address Standard 3 of the Aged Care Standards.
